I have been working as a photographer for over 30 years; the last 26 years as a professional wedding photographer. During this time I have witnessed some very dramatic changes. The most dramatic change was the introduction of digital photography. While initially I resisted the change, thinking that digital could never replace the quality of film, well now that the technology has improved to such a level, I found that couldn't reasonably resist anymore, I've now fully embraced the digital format, so much so, that I am now revisiting some of my favourite photographs with my digital camera.

When I am not taking wedding photographs, my passion is taking photographs of nature, following the seasons throughout the year, giving an ever changing subject matter.

I have uploaded some of my favourite photographs, please take time to browse through each one, should you feel that you would like to use one of these photographs on your promotional material, website or would like to have one framed to enhance your personal space, please feel free to contact us.

Most people think that if they get the picture wrong, it is a mistake, but it is not. There are plenty of reasons why it does not look the way you thought it would, learning to asses your work and discover how and why it has gone wrong is the best way to improve.

I also enjoy spending time with photographers just checking over the work that they have produced and with digital it is far better than it was in the old film day as the cost of processing is no longer an issue. The quantity of images needed to assess a students abilities accurately is no longer a problem. One of the most important things that I constantly like to drum into these photographers is to have fun and enjoy their camera and the pictures will come right all on there own.
